Fugard Theatre 2020 Season Announcement Press Release
On a perfect Spring evening amongst glistening rooftops catching the sun’s last light we welcomed the Fugard’s new artistic director, Greg Karvellas, and his announcement of the 2020 Fugard Season. The joy of sipping bubbles on a Monday was topped only by the excitement of the new, locally written, creations ‘What We Wish For’ and ‘Hold Still’ that we can look forward to in May and June respectively. Other fan favourites are Peter-Dirk Uys’ 75th birthday celebrations of 10 plays in 10 days, Athol Fugard’s ‘Master Harold and the boys’ and the Fugard’s first Shakespeare production, Hamlet.
